An exhibition of a joint diploma project consisting of four independent parts that consider the needs of possession, accumulation, thus inhabiting and storage.

„Baskets made of waste” is a collection of found, damaged baskets, both traditional,
wickered, and modern plastic ones. The project transfers waste from the sphere of garbage to the sphere of use, giving them a new potential. The actions taken are aimed at repairing damage, strengthening the structure, weaving in deficiencies, and thus changing and emphasizing the aesthetic values and giving new functions.

„Rope basket” is a search for a new material from a raw material taken out of its current context. The spatial form, using the developed, experimental structure of connecting the strands and polypropylene ropes of various thickness, is a record of a process strongly associated with sensuality and personality.

„Waste basket” analyzes the need to create a sense of responsibility in society for the generated waste. As a solution, it offers one-time or reusable temporary baskets, which in written scenarios assume the role of a building block of responsible habits.

„Baskets for everything” challenges the contemporary strategy of calling objects their functions, proposing a collection of objects open to the creativity of the user, based on the theory of free parts. Analyzing what constitutes the physical and social durability of an object, it describes the process of creating objects from ceramics, metal and glass.
