International Student Artist’s Books Exhibition SLOW – SELFIE. WHEN KNOWLEDGE BECOMES IMAGE

Our students took part in a prestigious, extremely interesting international screening and exhibition. Their art books were presented together with the works of students from Spain and Lithuania.

The exhibition is currently taking place in Granada, at the Sala Zaida gallery. In March, an art book exhibition will be presented in Vilnius, and in April at Szewska Gallery in Poznan.

The project also included lectures and workshops at the University of Granada conducted in Spanish by representatives of the Department of Interdisciplinary Activities at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing.

Jose Manuel Jimenez Munoz, Head of the Comic Book Studio – Language of Narrative in Drawing, presented a lecture on various types of narrative in books.

Dr. Marcin Lorenc from the Paper Laboratory conducted a 2-day workshop, during which students had the opportunity to learn about various types of Asian books and make two books themselves.
