Impermanence Everything will eventually fade away. Nothing is permanent. Our lives, society, emotions and the world are all temporary.

In this exhibition I try to capture the concept of transience as a positive and creative force. Acceptance of transience serves as a gateway to minimizing suffering. This belief brings the peace of mind to accept the things that cannot be changed and the courage to change the things that can be changed, as well as the wisdom to distinguish between the two.

What comes next will reveal itself in due time.

My paintings are a form of narration of what usually becomes suffering when we try to acknowledge the transient nature of life, objects, emotions and experiences. This resistance usually manifests as a melancholic beauty clinging to a nostalgic and euphoric vision of the past. By confronting this, I hope to spark emotion and dialogue with our internal conflicts.
