EXHIBITION MTP PAVILION NO. 11 (SPIRE)– MODERNIZATION

BUILDING OF THE COURT AND DISTRICT PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE IN SZAMOTUŁY

The building in Szamotuły is not spectacular, but it fits well into the city’s outskirts. It has correctly planned functions and a distinctive form, though devoid of exaggeration and unnecessary gadgets. It’s more than “background architecture”.

INTEGRATED MPK BUS STATION IN THE JAN III SOBIESKI ESTATE IN POZNAN

“…cubic form, elements monumentalizing the shape, windowless facade finished with dark gray clinker. In addition, there are bright yellow and green stripes, which are not an allusion to Leon Tarasewicz’s paintings, but signaling the function of the building, referring to the colors of Poznan city buses… Unfortunately, poor workmanship and struggles with cost estimates had a negative impact on the quality of the architecture.”
