Radio UAP
We invite you to create the community of Radio UAP at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan – an audio publishing platform supporting creative initiatives. The radio with a research and cognitive profile will become a new cultural space created by people dealing with interdisciplinary aspects of art, science, education and social issues. This platform will combine areas related to music, visual and sound arts, art theory, literature, theatre, social sciences and education. In the broadcast blocks we will hear, among others: original broadcasts, radio plays, podcasts, concerts, DJ sets, sound experiments, sound installations, performances, field recordings, discussion panels, interviews, reports, concert retransmissions, lectures and unique music collections. Our activities will focus on creating, researching, interpreting, reporting and documenting phenomena in art, as well as in social relations. The project will develop in many directions, such as sound experiments, interactive forms, sound design, music composition, verbal art, literary contexts (sound poetry, recitations, audiobooks) and many others.
Our main program goal will be to promote the activities of both local and non-local creative environments, to develop and disseminate the city’s cultural and educational offer, which shapes the need for constant participation in cultural life. We will do this through broadcasts, announcements, reports, summaries, presentations, thematic discussions, as well as cooperation with correspondents, editors, authors of broadcasts and invited guests.
The UAP radio publishing platform project will be of a procedural nature, based on the dynamic development of the offer, responding to the needs of people living in the City of Poznan and enriching the program through cooperation with external initiatives.
We cordially invite students, lecturers, and representatives of the world of culture, art, and science, both related and unrelated to the University of the Arts Poznan, to submit proposals for original broadcasts and all forms of radio. We inform you that it will be possible to record materials in our radio studio or send self-recorded podcasts.
