The exhibition received the patronage of Krakauer Haus in Nuremberg.

“(…) human time is divided into stages, just as movement in space is divided by pauses – places. (…) These pauses anchor us in the flow of time. (…) The more pauses in space, and therefore the more places we experience, the subjectively more time passes.”[1] Olga Tokarczuk

The “Places” exhibition is my journey through time and space. The titular places are a kind of expanding diary in which, through images, we can come into contact with the local culture, beliefs and stories of the inhabitants I visited in the near or distant past. Every painting was preceded by the history of the place, a story proving its extraordinary essence, which I presented in an abstract and symbolic visual language. In my works, I focused on places shrouded in mysticism, where the past intertwines with the present. The latest paintings are devoted to Nuremberg and its connections with Poland.
