Everyday Life Between Us

Gallery Design UAP, 9 Wolnica Str.
Opening: 27.11.2025, 18:00
Duration od exhibition: 27.11-28.12.2025

Two friends, two perspectives, one everyday world.

The exhibition Everyday Life Between Us is a shared story told by two illustrators who share not only a friendship, but also a passion for observing the world through color, texture, and gesture. They have known each other for years, and their artistic paths have matured in parallel, sometimes separately, sometimes side by side. Their works created by hand using markers, paints, and collages, form a visual dialogue about people, animals, plants, and the rituals of daily life.

These are illustrations drawn from life: simple moments that often go unnoticed, yet here gain warmth and meaning. Each artist has her own style, but their works meet in emotion, sensitivity, and a sense of humor. Together they create a world that feels close and familiar – a world where you can pause for a moment.

The exhibition opening will take place on 27 November 2025 at Gallery Design in Poznan and will be a space for meeting with the artworks, with the artists, and with everyday life, which can be beautiful in its simplicity.

Artist bios

Joanna Górawska

A “true pyra” – a local illustrator from Poznan. An avid observer of street scenes, interpersonal relations, and emotions. She values peace above all – the smell of the forest, the rustling of leaves, and the company of her dog. She draws inspiration from nature, folk art, and sacred art. She loves to explore, look, and listen. The result of these passions is her artistic output, created in a wide range of techniques. She is drawn to small formats – pocket-sized illustrations and intimate stories that present the world as she sees it.

Klaudia Majdowska KsyKsy

A creator of analogue illustrations inspired by nature and the rhythm of everyday life. She passionately combines different techniques, from ink to cutouts made from old magazines. She mainly draws with fineliners, felt-tip pens, and markers. She loves paper, pencils, and ink.
She illustrates characters with angular faces and geometric details, filling her works with dots and hatching. A collector of sketchbooks, vinyl records, and retro mugs. She enjoys black coffee, thick books, and late-night drawing sessions. She lives and draws in Jeżyce.
