The exhibition Two Sides presents the work and processes of studios focused on book and printed publication design at two art universities: the Book Design Studio led by Prof. Maciej Buszewicz at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and the Publishing Design Studio led by Prof. Krzysztof Molenda at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan.

The exhibition features a wide selection of projects – from typographic compositions and experiments with text layout to complete book publications and original printed works. The presented works highlight differences in the approaches of the two studios while also showing their shared focus: conscious engagement with form, function, editorial structure, and typographic rhythm.

The exhibition offers a glimpse into the “two sides” of the practice of publication design.
