Location: building G / room 102
The studio offers the opportunity to develop knowledge in the field of sustainable design. As part of the semester tasks, students design buildings with almost zero energy demand. The exercises are preceded by a series of lectures introducing the principles of constructing energy-saving and passive buildings. Leading trends, materials, technologies and examples of projects are discussed. The appropriate location of the building, shape of the body and structure, selection of materials and technological equipment enable a significant reduction in energy consumption and its production from renewable sources. In our projects, we pay close attention to social problems, non-exclusion, inscribing the object into a historical and cultural context. We try to minimally interfere with the natural environment and landscape.
