The programme for the academic year 2024-2025 includes several research, creative, design themes in selected or combined domains, matter:

– layers of communication in creative processes
– slow movement in artistic and/or everyday experience
– epistemology of small living spaces
– experimental use of soft materials as a medium of expression
– concept and/or practice of reuse/exploitation
– attributes of the everyday
+ own topics within the framework of bachelor’s, master’s degrees

Together we ask questions, explore, create solution scenarios, we design, generate solutions, create in dialogue + + +
Realisation of research, creation, design processes through known and selected techniques, media by students.

two-day workshop

I would like to invite you to collaborate with me within the framework of the workshop, a free choice studio.

Katarzyna Laskowska is an artist, designer and researcher.

She studied at the Sorbonne University – Paris IV and the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan.

She is professor of art and design at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Art Poznan and a visiting professor at TEC and Centro CENTRO Diseño, Cine y Televisión in Mexico City (2004-2021).

From 2001 to 2023, she led the author’s Education and Design Programme at UAP, 21 completed editions of PE-P.

She designs spatial objects, performances and presents them at international events: Biennale du Design – St Etienne, ICF – New York, Dubai Design Week – Dubai, Design Inspire – Hong Kong, Mexico Design Week – Mexico City, Lost&found Pop-up Exhibition – Riga.
