In the studio, we try to look for BEAUTY, that is, the internal ORDER of things, space and forms. We study the cultural contexts of architecture, we refer to classical categories. We learn to notice and value existing values in order to maturely create new ones. Tasks concern the creation of space, architecture, interior design, interior details, exhibitions. Understanding the unity of space and the relationship between external and internal form in architecture and the relationship between structure, function and form is essential. Topics related to adaptation, activities towards and within historic buildings are often discussed. The ability to read the context and engage in creative dialogue is a priority. The issues of the exercises take into account the year of study, the field of study, and the students’ own predispositions. Topics are formulated in such a way as to enable students to express themselves as individually as possible.
