Yes. Yes. We offer accommodation in a student dormitory belonging to Poznan University of Technology, which is located about 15 min walking and has a convenient tram connection with UAP. It is possible to apply for a double room (780 PLN / month) or triple room (860 PLN / month). While signing the contract, it is obliged to pay a non-refundable fee of 100 PLN and refundable one-month rent.
No. Exchange students coming to our University are not restricted only to the courses included in their main degree programme, but are also able to choose a number of free choice studios of art and design from other faculties. For example, a student of Photography can, apart from Photography Studios, join a studio of Sculpture, Design, Printmaking etc. Choice of studios, however, should be made in accordance with the requirements of each student’s home university.
Yes. Each exchange student will receive UAP student card, which will give you an access to our University’s facilities such as library, printery, equipment rental or just can work as a pass to our studios after working hours. This card will give you also a 50% discount in a public transport in Poznań and intercity trains in Poland (but only if you are under 26 years old). Moreover, many cultural institutions like museums, theaters or cinemas and restaurants offer lower prices for students. To issue such card for you we will need your full-color ID picture (digital), size 236x295px.
All applicants, who do not have a citizenship of EU or EFTA countries, are obliged to apply for a proper visa. When in doubt, we recommend contacting the nearest Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Poland.
We kindly remind that staying in Poland without a proper visa may cause result in legal problems.
According to Polish law, foreigners who begin studies in Poland are required to have health insurance that covers the period of their stay in the country. All exchange students are obliged to have a health insurance which covers at least basic medical help, such as European Heatlh Insurance Card, International Student Identity Card (ISIC) or other.
Yes, a portfolio is also required for the theoretical programme.
