General Principles
The Erasmus+ program enables students of Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan to complete part of their studies at a foreign university under bilateral agreements.

  • Study mobility is conducted for one semester (minimum 2 months).
  • Studies abroad are an integral part of the study program and are recognized based on ECTS credits.
  • Mobility is not possible for the diploma/last semester.
  • Mobility is carried out exclusively at UAP partner universities.
  • The student must maintain UAP student status for the entire period of the mobility.

Erasmus+ Mobility Limit:

  • Maximum 12 months per study cycle (Bachelor’s, Master’s),
  • 24 months for long-cycle Master’s programs.
Both studies and internships are included in this limit.

Evaluation Rules and Scoring:
Recruitment is based on a points system. Points are awarded by faculty committees appointed by the Deans for:

  • Portfolio / curatorial project: max. 60 points
  • Motivation letter: max. 15 points
  • Average grade from the last semester: max. 5.5 points (assuming the highest possible average in the semester preceding recruitment)
  • Additional activity (volunteering, work for the university, active participation in scientific circles): 1 point
  • No prior participation in Erasmus+: 1 point
  • Statement of participation in ESN Erasmus Buddy: 1 point

Maximum possible points: 83.5 points
A university-wide ranking list is created based on the points obtained, which forms the basis for mobility qualification.

Recruitment Results:

  • Candidates are informed by email,
  • Candidates have the right to appeal to the Rector within 14 days of the results announcement.

Qualified Candidates:
Qualification for mobility is preliminary and valid until:

  • Approval by the host university (a student nominated by UAP is registered at the selected host university and undergoes the partner’s recruitment process),
  • Signing the financial agreement in the UAP International Office

After being qualified, the student:

  • Prepares an Online Learning Agreement and submits it to the Deans for approval,
  • Submits documents required for signing the Erasmus financial agreement at the Erasmus UAP office (Building C, room 404).

Failure to submit required documents, loss of student status, or failure to meet formal requirements may result in revocation of mobility qualification.

  • The grant amount depends on the host country (approx. €600–670 per month),
  • Funding usually covers 2–5 months (1 semester),

Additional Financial Support:

  • €250 per month for students with fewer opportunities (e.g., receiving social scholarships or having a disability certificate),
  • Travel allowance (based on distance calculator and chosen mode of transport),
  • Additional funding for 2–6 travel days depending on the chosen transport method.
