Student Dormitory

We kindly inform the UAP students applying for accommodation in the Student Dormitory no. 6 about the necessity of submitting an application.

ATTENTION: The final application deadlines for the academic year 2024/2025 are as follows:

· for current UAP students: until June 14, 2024
· for individuals who have passed the entrance exam and have been admitted: until August 20, 2024

Application for a place at the Student Dormitory

(students who have passed the entrance exams and have been admitted do not need to include their student ID number/album number in the application).

After submitting the completed document, you will receive an email (after June 15, 2024, for current students and after August 21, 2024, for newly admitted students) with instructions on how to register yourself in the e-akademik system. Since 2021, Poznan University of Technology has implemented an electronic reservation system for Student Dormitory places.

ATTENTION: Current students are required to sign a conditional agreement by June 30, 2024, and to check into the dormitory by October 4, 2024. After this date, the dormitory place will be forfeited.

ATTENTION: First-year students are required to sign a conditional agreement by August 31, 2024, and to check into the dormitory by October 4, 2024. After this date, the dormitory place will be forfeited.

These deadlines are based on the “Agreement on Providing Places for Students of the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan in the Student Dormitories of Poznan University of Technology” signed on May 16, 2013. The allocation of dormitory places is determined by the order of application submission. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered as a commercial offer, meaning that Poznan University of Technology will charge higher fees for renting places in DS6.

Poznan University of Technology offers UAP students places in double and triple rooms in Dormitory No. 6. The monthly fee per person is 780 PLN for a triple room with a bathroom shared between two rooms and 860 PLN for a double room with a bathroom shared between two rooms (for applications submitted within the deadline).

If a place in the dormitory is granted, it is necessary to sign a conditional agreement with Poznań University of Technology and pay a reservation fee in the amount of PLN 100 within 5 days after signing it. Failure to pay the reservation fee shall invalidate the contract. Dormitory residents staying for more than 30 days shall make a deposit in the amount of a monthly fee. The deposit shall be used to pay for any damage to the property of a dormitory or campus caused by a resident. The return of the deposit or its part shall take place within 14 days after the accommodation period in a dormitory has come to an end in the form agreed with the Head of Campus (cash, bank transfer). In case of vacancies and at the request of a resident/residents who want to stay in a multi-person room without full occupancy, the fee may be reduced for each vacancy by 50%.
