The studio was established in the early 90s of the last century by prof. Jarosław Maszewski, a well-known educator, social activist. In 2003, the renamed laboratory is headed by prof. dr hab. Piotr Tetlak focuses strictly on activities related to the widely understood scenography: theater, outdoor performances, concert scenes and scenography as well as objects in urban space. Thanks to an interesting program and extensive technical facilities, the studio has also been implementing many stage design activities in cooperation with various theaters, cultural institutions and festivals for several years. The studio also cooperates with many educators, artists and students of the city of Poznań, inviting them to outdoor events and activities. Among others, these are cooperation projects with the Malta Festival in Poznań and the Department of Dance Theater in Bytom (Academy of Theater Arts in Krakow).
