At the same time, life continued its normal rhythm – it’s understandable, after all, you can’t stay in constant fear. The fear of the end of history is as unreal as it is attractive – a man tries to tame his own fear of death through creativity, various kinds of stories about the end. EVIDENCE | Katsiaryna Kardash

EVIDENCE It’s not folklore. It’s national identity. It’s not a manifesto. It’s EVIDENCE. From March 25 – the Belarusian Independence Day, 12 video-performances will be uploaded on the Internet, on social medias and in Tik Tok application, one a day, reflecting the Belarusian national identity in various forms. Each of them represents one of the ritual songs of the Belarusian calendar year. These songs come from various regions of Belarus and were recorded during ethnographic expeditions at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The recordings are reproduced in detail: they convey the intonation, singing technique and language dialect of the presented regions of Belarus. Music of the Spheres Duża Scena Gallery / UAP24 Wodna Street, Poznań, PolandOpening: March, 7, 18:00The exhibition is open from 7 March to 1 April 2023 For a long time, music was not so much a concept defining the audible harmony of sounds, but primarily a mathematical science of proportions, one of the liberal arts. In a broader sense, it was perceived as order—in both the anthropological sense (musica humana) and in the cosmic sense (musica mundana). This order was an abstract, soundless form that was the subject of philosophical considerations and mathematical calculations. The title of the exhibition Music of the Spheres refers to the concept that dates back to Pythagorean times, linking the mathematical order with the constant movementMore

Abstraction is often dominant. Moreover, the works of the Czech painter can be suspected of a certain nervousness, haste and understatement accompanying quite well-thought-out compositions. The works can be included in the area of modernist experience. However, being based onMore

Prezentuje dwa podejścia do eksploracji języka hebrajskiego w ujęciu konceptualnym sztuki współczesnej.  Autorski poemat Eliyahu Fatala w formie instalacji przestrzennej zatytułowanej „Melting Symbol” wskazuje fascynację słowem, szerokim potencjałem znaczeniowym i interpretacyjnym języka jako narzędzia i nośnika treści. Poprzez odwoływanie się do kształtów liter Eliyahu Fatal rozważa nad zagadnieniem wieloznacznej pojemności wyrazów. Czerpie przy tym z różnych tradycji, łączy czcionki, kroje i odręczne pismo. W efekcie stawia widza wobec utartych symboli i skojarzeń, doświadczenia konfrontacji zrozumiałego z niezrozumiałym, sacrum i profanum, trwałego wobec tymczasowego.
